Provide Feedback During and After Interactions

Users should know whether their interaction has been (or will be) successful.

Users need assurances.

Indicate whether any interaction was a success or failure.

How to Apply

  • Indicate Whether an Interaction Will Be Successful. Inform users whether they provided the right criteria for their password before they erroneously submit.
Confirm password field with checkmarks next to completed requirements (e.g., at least 8 characters long)
  • Indicate Whether an Interaction Was Successful. Users may have clicked "send" on their message. But was it truly sent? Tell them.
